Muhammad Hassan Ismail or better known as Pheno is a Penang native who now resides in Kuala Terengganu. A regular artist of Sempoi and Gila-Gila Magazines, Pheno is also a contributor to the Weekly cartoons for Kosmo and Utusan Malaysia newspapers. In addition, he is involved with other comics such as echozine comics, fantasy comics, entertainer comics and seven artists. Pheno was once awarded the Terengganu State Cartoonist Figure 2021 (managed by Rumah Kartun Dan Komik Malaysia – RKKM/MCCH
