Jaini Abd. Ghani or better known as cartoonist Binjai is from Sabah. He is a painter of portraits, cartoons, caricatures, murals, illustrations, storyboards and is skilled in the use of watercolor, acrylic and pastel paintings. Having received the National Outstanding Student Award -Sabah Cartoonist Student Figure, Binjai is also the winner of Karya (KPTNS) Sabah 1996, 1997 & 1998. Apart from that, he was appointed Formula One GP Sepang 2003 Caricature Ambassador and won several open multi-level competitions in the categories of watercolor, doodle, mural, batik, illustration and others. To date, Binjai has participated in many painting exhibitions and received invitations to talks, workshops and visual arts demonstrations at the school, university and community levels.
