He started his career as an illustrator in a national news media in Jakarta for two years. Then he worked as a portrait and caricature artist on “The Enchantment of The Seas Royal Caribbean” cruise ship in Florida. After returning home, he took part in several art communities and was involved in art exhibitions since 2010 – present. Such as, Hyperball Cartoon World Cup 2010, Erasmus Huis, Sketch exhibition: [Re] Kreasi Garis (2018) and Watercolor Painting (2019) at the National Gallery of Indonesia, 30 X 30 Jakarta (2019) and Bandung (2020)
He is also embedded in some social researches as a sketcher in the field; Sulawesi (2014), Papua New Guinea (2015 – 2017), Ambon and Banda Naira (2018). He is also as a courtroom artist covering several corruption and environmental trials at the anti-Corruption court. Michael D. Fay (former USMC combat artist) invited him to share online session “Reportage Art” in his art class at Lebanon Valley College, Pennsylvania, 2017.
Now, he still draws cartoons on human rights issues and also illustrations for books.
